From studio session musician to concert performances, Mark has been involved in every aspect of the music business since the late 70’s.
An Indiana native, Mark was a studio session player at 800 west studios in Indianapolis and covered many different styles of playing during his tenure there.
Performing with a local rock and roll bands Flite, Spokane and Magician which gave him the opportunity to open for many successful bands such as, Molly Hatchet, Rare Earth, and Black Oak Arkansas.
A Las Vegas Elvis tribute show found Mark performing in arenas and theaters across the country ,it’s growing popularity earned him an endorsement from the GHS guitar string company and gave him the opportunity to perform with and alongside of many popular groups, such as ZZ top, Journey, REO Speedwagon, Eddie Money, The Doobie Brothers and Nightranger. Although he still doesn’t quite understand how a guy impersonating Elvis could gain such a following.
Mark has had the opportunity to play with notable blues players who have performed with Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and Muddy Waters. And a surprise visit to a performance also introduced Mark to country music star Frankie Ballard.
Mark has completed the course, of playing local taverns and pubs, to opening for notable groups to concert headliner, and is excited to share the stage with other musicians who share his love of music with The Headliner Band
